Event Info

Get ready to make a splash this summer as the Chester Raft Race returns for another unforgettable event! Join us for a day filled with music, laughter, and plenty of river fun.

📅 Date: June 30th
🕥 Time: Music at the Groves from 10:00 am
📍 Location: Groves (Map) and Meadows (Map)

The Chester Raft Race will be arriving this summer with music at the Groves (Map) and rafts launching from 10:30am at the Meadows (Map).

Our prestigious charity event has been a beloved tradition in Chester since the 1970s, raising over £500,000 for local causes. In 2023, our Superhero event supported the amazing charity SHARE, dedicated to supporting families in crisis and the homeless in North Wales and Cheshire.

This year, we’re excited to announce that the event will support two incredible charities: North West Air Ambulance Charity and Young Lives vs Cancer. Your participation in the Chester Raft Race helps us make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Thank you to Salt Town Contractors Ltd, and our other sponsors, your support has enabled us to bring this event back for another year.
